Friday Flop – Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner

Hey guys! Happy Friday! Today, instead of my usual Friday Favorite, I have a Friday Flop! I am going to tell you about a product that absolutely did not work for me and was disappointing.

This product is the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner. Now, I love anything coconut scented, and this scent reminded me of our honeymoon in St. Lucia. Ah, paradise. It smells so tropical and good, so I figured it would be a good conditioner. I picked up for $8 at Ulta.

I am pretty easy to please when it comes to conditioners, I usually use a cheap drugstore one and they work out fine for me. I applied this to my hair right after my shampoo, and left it in for about 3-5 minutes. After I rinsed it out, my hair felt clean, but straw-like, not that soft feeling you usually get from conditioner. I have used it three times now, I even tried leaving it on longer, but nope, it still doesn’t leave my hair feeling soft or even conditioned!

All this product did for me was make my hair smell nice. This left my hair feeling like I didn’t even use conditioner! My $1.50 coconut Suave conditioner works better than this.

So, yeah. I will not be repurchasing this. Have you guys tried the Organix line of hair care? Let me know what you think of it!

Have a great weekend 🙂

  1. I’m not a fan of Organix products :-/ I’ve tried their Brazilian Keratin line of products (the straightening system & shampoo/conditioner) and wasn’t impressed with it. I have travel sized shampoo & conditioner of the Moraccan Argan Oil and while its a step up from normal hotel products, it’s still not worth purchasing. The coconut oil serum also made my thick hair super greasy. Organix is just not for me. It’s probably better & cheaper to use straight coconut oil. I definitely learned my lesson, don’t base purchases on smell along 😉

    1. Really? That is surprising that the Moroccan Oil ones aren’t that great either! Well, I won’t be trying any more Organix products. It was the worst conditioner ever!
