Review:  DIOR Star Fluid Foundation

Ohhh my lanta. I am loving this foundation.  Of course, I have never tried anything from DIOR that I haven’t absolutely loved.  This foundation gives a flawless finish to your skin and feels super lightweight.

So, first off, the packaging.  Pretty perfect in my opinion.  A nice, glass bottle with a pump, 1 oz size like most foundations.  Feels heavyweight and luxe.  I wouldn’t expect any less from DIOR.  I have the shade 010, or Ivory, which is the lightest shade.  I usually wear the first or second lightest shade in foundations.

The foundation has SPF 30 and is said to lighten dark spots and even skintone over time.  It has a brightening and illuminating finish that gives the skin a healthy glow without looking shiny or glittery.

The consistency is a liquid, it is lightweight and silky feeling.  You can apply it to be a sheer light coverage with your fingers or a sponge, or you can get a medium to full coverage with a brush, such as the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.  This is my favorite way to apply it.  I apply it with the brush in circular motions and buff it evenly into my skin.  It makes my face look flawless and it doesn’t feel like I even have anything on my skin.

I get very good wear out of this foundation.  I set it with powder, and my skin doesn’t get oily or anything throughout the day (I have dry skin).  It lasts all day and still looks great by the end of the day.  It just looks like skin; gives a really nice, natural look.

I’d say if you are looking for a new foundation, try this one out!  They have a very large range of shades, and it’s a great natural looking foundation for everyday.

Have you tried this foundation?

Thanks for reading! xx

  1. I don’t own any high end foundations, but since you started this post off with oh my lanta I might be willing to make a leap. Foundations that are flawless but still look like skin is what I’m after!
