REVIEW | L’Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara

Oh, how I have been wanting to try this mascara.  As you may know, I am on my makeup NO BUY for the entire year of 2017, so I had to wait until I had a gift card on my birthday to purchase this!  Loophole 🙂

This is the L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara.  I paid around $10 for this at Ulta.

I have heard really good things about this mascara, some people even comparing it to the way more expensive Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara– which I really love.  The packaging is even similar.  I don’t usually like L’Oréal mascaras, I find them to be a very “wet” formula- so I usually go with Covergirl or Maybelline mascaras from the drugstore.  Maybe this one will be different!

The metallic light pink and gold packaging on this just calls to me.  I just had to pick one up.

I picked it up in the regular formula (non-waterproof), and the color is blackest black – which is always the color I get for mascara.

The wand has a slight wave to it, and very soft bristles.

Here are my lashes before I even curled them.

After curling and applying the mascara, here is what it looked like.

Excuse my dark circles. 😦

The mascara glides on very smoothly and coats each lash.  I didn’t have any problems with clumping, and I thought it was very lengthening.  It is also buildable, so if you want to go for dramatic lashes, it won’t get clumpy or spidery.

Throughout the day, it held up!  My lashes looked like this until I washed it off that night, I didn’t have any smudging or flaking, and it really held the curl.  Call me crazy, but I actually think I like this more than the Too Faced one.  The formula on this is better, and not as thick.  Sometimes I would experience clumping with the other. This one is a winner!

If you are in the market for a new mascara, I’d give this one a try!

Thanks for reading xx
